The Factions of Allegiance
GigaCorp - Founded as a colonly building, resource exploiting mega-corporation by Emmet Longstreet in the early 21st century, members of modern GigaCorp use their advanced research knowledge and deep pockets to acquire everything they need to survive. With their luxurious ships and unmatched resource acquisition techniques, GigaCorp quite literally buys themselves victory on the battlefield.
BIOS - In 2033, GeneFlex -- a subsidiary of GigaCorp -- begun the ALEXANDER gene-manipulation project. With meticulous experimentation on human test subjects, GeneFlex created a group of enhanced humans known as BIOS. When Earth was destroyed in 2140, the BIOS banded together to battle the other factions. Though their research times are slow, the BIOS produce exceptional weapons, ships, and equipment for their soldiers. Just as their genes are superior, so is their technology.
Iron Coalition - In 2071, United Nations forces were called to settle a heated "dispute" concerning Helium-3 mining rights between GigaCorp and their competitors. With brutal, military precision, the UN forces swiftly ended the violent affair. The Iron Coalition, descendants of these UN forces, continue in that tradition. Though their technology and research isn't the best, their ships -- piloted by trained, disciplined soldiers -- are heavily armored, heavily shielded, and heavily armed. If you plan to cross a group of Iron Coalition soldiers, prepare for a difficult, merciless battle.

...and 5 more!
In addition to Bios, Gigacorp, and the Iron Coalition, you can join the forces of the pirate-like Belters, the lizard-like Dregkhlar Empire, the formidable Ga'taraan Federation, the insect-race Rixian Unity, or the technologically advanced Technoflux. With eight distinct factions to choose from, you can fight for your surival how you want to.

The Ships of Allegiance

Scouts
Though ridiculed by many for their small size, small payload, and lack of armor, true aces of Allegiance prefer scout ships for their deadly efficiency and unassuming demeanor. Spy on the enemy, support your team with hull-repairing nanobots, or deploy high-yeild minefields to score massive kills; a good scout pilot is unmatched in both deadliness and usefulness.

Interceptors
Interceptors serve as a base of operation's last line of defense, while also being capable of short-range, overwhelming offensive strikes. With fuel space reserved for larger payloads, Interceptors are packed to capacity with fast-firing, high damage miniguns and are protected by a thick layer of armor. If you need power, damage, and don't need to go far, grab an Interceptor.

Stealth Fighter
Experts at destroying the enemy's economy, stealth fighters are outfitted with a cloaking device and powerful anti-utility weapons. While sacrificing armor for a low profile, stealth fighters are nevertheless a terrifying foe no faction wishes to see used against them.

And many more!
From general purpose fighters, to medium sized bombers, to massive capital ships; your fight for survival will place you behind the controls of dozens of unique craft. Each fills a special role, and each is as imperative to victory as the last. Which ship will you fly?
The Weapons of Allegiance

LRM Hunter Missile
The bane of every Allegiance pilot, LRM Hunter Missiles are the weapon of choice for skilled Stealth Fighter pilots. While safely cloaked and at a distance, a Stealth Fighter firing LRM Hunter missiles can and will obliterate the opposition -- all without being spotted.

Gattling Gun
Gattling guns are the default weapon you will find on your scouts and fighters. A general purpose weapon, Gattling Guns are moderate damage, moderate spread, and moderate speed projectile based weapons. Upgraded to Gattling Gun 3, though, and you have yourself a powerful, all-purpose weapon.

Aleph Resonator
A team that researches Aleph Resonator missile will be able to temporarily transform any aleph -- a wormhole linking the sectors of a battlefield together -- into a massive bomb. Any craft -- friendly or foe -- near the aleph will have precious seconds to vacate the area; or suffer the consequences.

And many more!
Outfitted with a stockpile of other fantastic weapons such as proximity mines, miniguns, and tactical nukes, your enemies will cower at your feet, begging for mercy.
The Technology of Allegiance

Teleport Probe 2
An upgrade from Teleport Probe 1, Teleport Probe 2 (TP2) is one of the most feared battle-ending technologies in the Allegiance universe. Deployed at a strategic location by a daring scout pilot, TP2 allows an entire team to teleport -- also known as ripcord -- directly to its location. Often dropped behind an asteroid orbiting the enemy stronghold, a lone scout with a TP2 equipped can call forth a literal fleet of heavily armed bomber craft, a force few can withstand.

ER Nanite
During battle, armor and hull plating get damaged. Without armor or hull, there is nothing separating you from the deathly cold of space. ER Nanite is a tool that will save your life. When a craft fires the ER Nanite at a damaged squad mate, millions of tiny nanobots attach themselves to the hull and instantly repair it. Without ER Nanite technology, offensive maneuvers such as bombing runs and Teleport Probe 2 drops would be virtually impossible.

General Upgrades
Though perhaps uninspiring at first glance, general upgrades can easily turn the tide of any battle. A wise commander will invest heavily in these research opportunities, offering their pilots enhancements such as improved weapon damage, thicker armor plating, and larger paydays.

And many more!
Booster upgrades, shield upgrades, cloaking devices, and more -- If your ship can equip it, your commander can upgrade it.

Join the Team

Forget Rambo. In Allegiance, teamwork is what will allow you to live to see another day. In every battle, the team that coordinates and communicates best always wins. If you want to bring your game to the next level, join one of the highly active player-run squads.
See the active squad rosters.
In addition, Allegiance gives you the opportunity to prove your tactical genius as the TEAM COMMANDER. Order forward outpost placements, invest in research and new technologies, develop cunning strategies, and, like the brave kings of ancient history, lead your troops into battle on a daring offensive strike.
Just remember -- in all of the epic space warfare that awaits you, there is only one rule: Fly alone, die alone.
