Veteran is someone who is skilled. Newbie is someone who is new to the game. But what the heck is a Voob?
The "Carebear" version
It is someone who is BETWEEN vet and noob. Vets have been around for years and years and years and are to be feared and respected (think Sheff, Shiz, Champy, Ozzy, Psych, Weedman, etc). A voob is beyond a noob but not yet a vet.
Such carebears would do well to learn that "noob" is a derogatory term itself (see below).
The demeaning version
It's somebody who's played for a fair bit but has stopped learning and getting better, and still does noob mistakes. Not a newb, but not a vet = voob.
Or to put it simply, a veteran that still plays like a noob.
