The stealth fighter is an attack craft that specialises in attacking miners and constructors. While they excel at destroying the enemy's economy they make extremely poor defenders - which can be a serious problem as most teams will focus on bombing if they have no miners or constructors left to defend.
The stealth fighter has poor turning and low health, and its defensive equipment (shields and missiles) raise its signature when mounted, working against its stealth. In defence sfs must remain far from the attacker, and need to concentrate their missiles on the same target to ensure it dies. In offence the sf should move quickly to destroy the target and get away before the enemy realise they're there.
