The Hanger Bay

base screens

This is the main screen you will see when the a game is launched or when you dock in any station during the game. You can navigate here via the "F" keys which are covered in the next lesson. Or you can use the built-in navigation links labeled above.

TIP: The in-game help menu can be reached at any time by using the "F1" key.

The "Esc" key will open up all of the in-game settings for Sound, Video, Chat filtering and keyboard / Joystick mappings. Turning off some of the visual effects may speed up your frame rate and reduce stuttering of your screen if you have issues.

Optional: The original quick reference sheet shipped with the Retail MS version of the game can be downloaded. It is in a .zipped PDF file. Please note that a few items are no longer valid, but most of the material is still good. arrow gif to top of page
