Zone games were large games, organized by Microsoft. These games were played during US prime time on a Allegiance Zone server.
The result of the games had effect to the storyline. The best players (by kills, base kills or base captures) were mentioned on the Message of the day and within DataNet posts.
The Events Zone is allegedly working to bring Zone Games back to the community.
