The fighter bomber is, at its name would suggest, a cross between a fighter and a bomber. The design was based on the fighter hull, with a miniature turret slot added and room found for a single SRM anti base missile. The fighter bomber is found under the supremacy techpath and is mostly used against techbases, since sup already has the cheaper galvonic blaster to destroy minor stations.
The figbee is used in large groups, normally in conjunction with a tp drop. As a fighter its performance is sub par and, more importantly, it will be a higher target priority for enemy pilots as they know your ship costs money.

Ga'Taraan Federation
- Can not research fighter bombers.
- Can get PT bombers instead.
Rixian Unity
- Instead of using missiles the pilot can place a stinger in his first gun slot, a rapid firing energy weapon that does damage to stations.
Technoflux
- Instead of using missiles the pilot can mount either A-B cannon in his primary weapon slot, a slow firing energy weapon that does damage to stations.
