Note Before listing an article for deletion, consider other alternatives as appropriate: - As a community resource as long as pages follow our standards they are usually appropriate, however they may be in the wrong place or not ready and might be moved elsewhere.
- An article may instead be more appropriately merged with another article.
- Articles that are a stub or need improvement should be categorized as such, however Be Bold. It may be worth merging some minor articles into sections on a major article.
- Duplicate articles should be checked for unique information and are usually better merged.
- Redirects often have their use, double redirects typically do not.
- If appropriate, when marking an article for deletion, you should also inform the author as well as post why on the discussion page. A WikiMod will review the discussion to take action later.
